Behavioral Pediatrics at Home was developed to provide thoughtful, individualized evaluations and management for children with concerns for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Behavioral Pediatrics at Home can also provide personalized medication management for children with ASD and ADHD. These can be provided as in-home “house calls” and telemedicine visits, depending on your family’s preference.

At home care
Behavioral Pediatrics at Home provides assessments and medication management in the comfort and security of your child’s home.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Dr Hain provides individualized play-based assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder using the Childhood Autism Ratings Scale, both CARS2-ST and CARS2-HF.
ADHD
Dr Hain provides assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) using observations of your child as well as teacher and parent input, and assessments for mood disorders like anxiety or depression.

Why home care?
Behavioral Pediatrics at Home started with a “eureka” moment during coronavirus pandemic-mandated telemedicine visits.
Dr Hain was able to see many of her patients with Autism interact with their favorite toys and play objects via telemedicine – and she realized the value of seeing children in their environments, where they feel most comfortable.
Seeing children surrounded by their favorite toys and objects of play, not in the “artificial” office environment, improved Dr Hain’s behavioral assessments for children of all ages. The Hain family decided to move to the Triangle in the fall of 2021, and Dr Hain decided to commit to a “house call” based practice model.
This model helps to better serve the needs of children with behavioral concerns and their families. This approach also allows for more time for individualized assessments and treatments for your child.
